I wouldn't mind doing.. them all however If I could get a bit of information on what it is thats required for being explained so I can myself understand what the guide needs to explain then I'll do em all. |

Hmmm, i got some ideas for the leveling but i'm not sure i can redow the whole thing. Some of the info that was on the old one was pretty good, but again i'm not sure if i could do it, i just got ideas.. |

Hyakuji High School. Getting started. Guide. Rp'ing basics: Turn basis: What is the turn basis? The turn basis is the basis on which the entire Rp works; it's a simple concept that is easily followed. Like the name employs, posts are done in turn, for example, you and your friend are starting a topic. The person that creates the topic will have the first post, they will then wait for you to reply to there post and so on. Double posting is not allowed as specified in the rules unless there is a valid reason for doing so; such has waiting an eternity for your partner to reply or rp'ing on your own. Wow that was simple. Combat!!! Waaagh! Right combat, erhum it works exactly like the turn basis in the way that each member takes turn in posting there replies to attacks or for attacking. Attacking: Attacking, you simply rp as you would normally, for e.g. Bob runs over to Jim while making hand seals efficiently and as he gets close to Jim he stretches his hand out and fires a large Katon flame at Jim. Of course you will make your fighting posts and well posts in general far far far more descriptive than that, though one thing you notice from the example is the following:

As this is a multiplayer / multi member rp not a fan fic automatic hits at your discretion is not the name of the game here as it is usually referred to as God modding. To avoid god modding, when you attack your attacks should say things like the following: "Bob attempts to punch Jim¡" or "Jim thrusts forward at Jim with a powerful punch" and thus giving the other member, the one you are fighting a chance to dodge, evade and set up his own counter attack which you yourself will be given the chance to escape. Too close to miss? You will find that some attacks that your opponents make or use depending on the abilities used will be either too close, fast, accurate, big or technical for your character to avoid or go unharmed by. This is something that is more determined by levels, as the higher level you are the more likely and experienced you are to be able to handle such a unlikely to dodge able / block able attack though when attacking do not attack in the belief that your attack is one of these as unless there is a large level gap between you and your opponent there is more than likely going to be a way for him/her to evade taking 100% damage from a strike. On the defence? Defending works exactly like attacking, you wait your turn to post and when it comes to your turn as a result of an attack you are forced to defend yourself, there are a few things to do and not to do. To do and not to do: 1: Be realistic in your defence, don't pull off moves or evades that you know in yourself would never ever happen as it will be picked up as god modding. 2: Be considerate, although you are not wanting to lose, or be hit, or w/e you have to consider that if the attacks that are coming in are overwhelming then rp with them as being such, don't deliberately find a way around every little move your opponent makes just for the sake of a win cos in truth that's not what its about and realistically during the time between attacks would your character really have the time to calculate the chances and odds of each possible escape / evade possible and come out with the best one every time¡K. NO lol. 3: don't use things that you don't have, self explanatory basically if you don't have or can't do something then don't even try it. 4: Killing, you are to reframe from killing unless you are willing to stand the consequences, but for a start you will more than likely be intervened with if you try killing someone who has not given consent to do so. Oh.. And on top of that you just become known as a MURDERER! result of being a murderer is that you become a wanted criminal (which isn't good) and other students will hold (usually) a very distasteful opinion over you. Not recommended for newcommers. Re cap on rules, what¡¦s not allowed within the rp: basically.. the usual unacceptable things, no matter how aggressive your character no outrageous insults / bad language, racism or "hurtful" threats, e.g. threatening your gunna kill someone then do nasty things with them or there friends, you get the idea. The Rp format: There is really no "set" Rp format as it is generally open to almost any style (accept those so sufficiently bad that it leads people to believe a bacteria from the lower contours of someone's nuts could do better) Here is a recommended format of rp'ing. Speech = " " between speech marks. Actions = written as normal. Thoughts = Written in Italic --> A small example: Mutziko slowly walked down one of the various hallways of the main building as she was on the way to class, noticing her friend she called over while waving her arm in the air. "Hey Dave how¡¦s it going?" She shouted as she continued to walk over to him. Wonder what he is doing out of class Extension to Rp format: Simple extension to make speech more visable from everything else is to use a colour on the speech writing (but still keeping the speech marks) e.g. Mutziko slowly walked down one of the various hallways of the main building as she was on the way to class, noticing her friend she called over while waving her arm in the air.
