Yeesh…Alright, alright…So what do you need help with this time, leveling? Well, if you’ve been being good and have READ THE RULES, you should have some idea what’s going on. Anyway, we’ll start at what level you’re on. Assuming you’ve just started, you are on not level one, but level six. Leveling up happens occasionally through much practice and training, and sometimes through rumors or special events. Now, meat, this does NOT mean you should souly spend your entire free time training and bothering staff member about gaining a level or two. Keep in mind this is a HIGH SCHOOL RPG FIRST and a battle ground second! You’re only in high school; simmer down on the power trip, Goku. With that established, lets go into how exactly you distribute those six points you have for your level six status. You have four separate categories to break your points down into, and they go like this: Physical: Do you have big muscles? Do you spend hours flexing in the morning in front of your mirror? When you walk, does the ground rumble? Can you take fifteen hundred punches from Triyun-kun and not flinch? (Of course you can’t do that last one…But moving on…) THEN PHYSICAL IS THE CATEGORY FOR YOU! Now, defined in the rules: Code: `Physical prowess deals with what shape your body is in. To give you an idea the average physically well fit adult male could be say physical 4. This could count for speed, strength, agility, many things. It is also important to remember a healthy body can take more abuse than an unhealthy one.` Elemental: Not so tough? A bit weak below the belt?...No? Well…Do you like setting stuff on fire, freezing it, covering it in earth, completely drenching it in water?! YES YOU SAY?! Well then this category is for you! Defined in the rules: Code: Elemental magic is the ability for one to manipulate and generate a single element. While more specific than Chi in what type of energy and range attacks it can use, users of elemental magics have extra powers in that element. Often time not only can they use an element offensively but also can easily block damage from that element, and use it for utility purposes. Example: Kashim uses raging soul storm no jutsu to fire a chakra based lightning bolt at Amaya. Amaya uses her mastery of electricity to absorb most of the attack and fire the rest at Kashim. With her reserve power she uses it to power a toaster to make herself peanut butter toast. Chi/Chakra/Ki: Alright, alright…Nothing so far appeal to you? Not into that body building physique? Still wanna kick some major ass? Yea, thought so. Well, if you don’t mind putting a bit of your spiritual energy into each attack, then this is for you! Defined in the rules: Code: `Everyone has seen Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball, Naruto, etc. The energy which people use to perform moves in those shows can be counted under this category. Typically it and physical are a favorite combination among many members.` Supernatural: STILL not into any of that? Are you one of those frea--….special children that can see dead people? Can you phase through walls? Move things with your mind? Do something trippy that would make a sane person stare with jaws open while muttering, ‘what the fuck?’ Then supernatural should be JUST the place for your stats to go! Defined in rules: Code: `Supernatural is a broad category, those with mastery of the supernatural can do many things. While some are legendary sorcerers, others have developed psychic minds. This is the unexplainable and strange.` Alright, understand all the categories? Okay. Good. Now, you may be wondering HOW exactly to spread your points out. Okay…for example. You wanna make an agile, strong ninja with a good knowledge of jutsus. You might wanna put four or five of your points into physical, and the remaining in Chi/Chakra/Ki. So on your character profile it’ll look something like this: Physical: 4 Supernatural: 0 Elemental: 0 Chi/Chakra/Ki: 2 See how Supernatural and Elemental are both holding zeros, meat? That means you have no points in either of those categories, meaning that you have no elemental powers, and no supernatural powers. Another example. For my character, Amaya, she’s a physical fighter, but mostly majors in the elemental department, so here’s how mine looks: Physical: 5 Supernatural: 0 Elemental: 8 Chi/Chakra/Ki: 0 Now, you may be wondering why I’m on level 13, and you’re only on level 6. This can easily be answered in one sentence; I’ve trained and participated in events. See what hard work can do for you? So alright, meat. I think this should have been plenty enough explanation for you to get started and divide your levels up properly! But remember, once you place a point, it can’t be taken back…So choose wisely, alright? NOW GET OUT THERE AND MAKE ME PROUD! -Amaya

When I first created my character, the powers I had picked out for him were basically cut down bit by bit so that he only ended up with two attacks. Is is possible, by leveling up, to gain more powerful special abilities and such?

Advanced Member Posts: 70 Group: Members Member #681 Joined: July 10, 2007	I'm not sure if that was directed at me...If it was, I guess I didn't make my question clear enough. I was basically told to pick two special attacks. For instance, I could only have Kamehameha and Destructo Disc. No Ki blasts, no flying, just those two attacks. Granted, Komaru is not a DBZ character, but I hope you get my point. My question is, could I, by leveling up, add more attacks in, such as Spirit Bomb and Special Beam Cannon for example?

It's pathetic, right? Posts: 3,326 Group: Administrator Member #14 Joined: April 19, 2006	this is out dated. We USED to start a six but bumped it to eight to help minimize the massive gulch forming between the new members and old members. (we had staff up in the 40s and members in the 20s.. But the average level was 12'sh.. So bumping form 6 -> 8 helped us reduce that gap a smidge..)
