Posts: 464 Group: Members Member #233 Joined: June 4, 2006	Well, I suppose you can never have enough plot ideas! :lol: I myself would like to see some sci-fi incorporated into our storylines, not just demons and magic and whatnot. So, here's my basic idea... We could do an event or rumor series involving grey aliens abducting people and using them for experiments. It could be fairly innocuous at first, with people having "close encounters" in rumors or smaller events. The aliens are essentially holding silent vigil over Hyakuji and the surrounding country, seeking to "cultivate" the gifted students at the school for their own twisted, enigmatic purposes. It will eventually elevate to students being abducted at night (probably a handful in all), and experimented on. These students will have no memory of the abduction, only a series of bad nightmares and unexplained feelings of malevolence. Some of the students can recall the incidents through hypnosis, if that course is taken. As this progresses, all the students who were abducted will begin to develop a limited psychic link between one another. Telepathy and such...so when they encounter each other, they will experience wierd things, or start feeling strange feelings that the other characters feel, even when they're not even near each other. Eventually, as the condition progresses, the abductee students develop a rudimentary hive mind, and begin thinking as parts of a single unit, following embedded orders from the Greys. Something like "Village of the Damned", only not as extreme as that. I'm not entirely sure yet what their "orders" might be, but these characters will retain their free-will through most of the storyline. When someone threatens the well-being of one of the Group or simply gets in the way of their orders, terrible things happen, as a result of their developing psychic powers. For instance, they might light someone on fire, attack them mentally, use telekinesis, etc...essentially, they have an over-active survival instinct. As such, there will be a certain level of fear-of-self in the characters who form the group, as bad things start happening around them that they have no control over. Eventually, they will get to stages where they seem to "willingly" do these acts (because they lose their will to resist at certain times). Also, characters who have seen the Greys or evidence of them but have not been experimented on will essentially emerge as the early protagonists (and probably focused on in that role), before the strange incidents surrounding the Group become more obvious to everyone else. People who have encountered the Greys without being abducted will be develop a slight telepathic sensitivity to the alien influence, allowing them to sense something extremely unsettling going on, especially in the presence of the abductees. Plus, that'll give said protagonists reason to start accusing the abductees of being with "Them". To deepen the intrigue, these people could be written off as lunatics, or else attract the dangerous attention of the abductee group, who would unconsciously consider them a threat. So, this is just the basic premise I'm working off of. It needs more fine-tuning, but let me know what you guys think.
