Advanced Member Posts: 77 Group: Members Member #574 Joined: February 26, 2007	Well Ive been watching a lot of Paranoia Agent and I got to thinking: 'That would be interesting to have a small 13-year-old with inline skates going around commiting assault crimes with a crooked golden baseball bat.' Anyway, my idea is to have a multi-user character called Lil' Slugger attack people at night in the back alleys. Nobody knows why he attacks, but he just does. People could PM me (or the admins, it depends) for permission to use the character and set up an event with another member to have a fight. I wont be using the character that much, that is assuming this idea ever gets off the ground. If he is defeated, he scoots off on his skates around a corner and vanishes. You have to set up an individual event to happen, he cant be used like a regular character and jump into an open topic, it has to be just two people only in one topic. If their is going to be more than one combatant fighting him, they can only appear if the first combatant is about to be defeated and if i give them permission. If i feel like i want to take the mystery further, ill play as him and let some tantalizing information slip out. Lil' Slugger can only be used for ONE thread per user. Once he runs away, the thread is pretty much closed. Lil' Slugger doesn't speak at all except for his opening line: 'I've come for you' and his closer: 'insert small chuckle here' which he always says before knocking you out with the baseball bat. The defeated will awaken in the hospital. Lil' Slugger's bat causes the amount of damage a normal bat would do, but also disorients you whenever it touches. NON-LIVING object are thuroughly demolished like a chainsaw to styrofoam. However that does NOT mean you can bust down a building...without my permision (or the admins, it depends). He takes damage just like all of us, but it doesn't leave any lasting marks, example; if he gets hit by a fire attack, he gets hurt but his clothes or skin won't look to be burned. Blade weapons hurt him, but he does not bleed or look to have cuts. If his bat gets knocked out of his hand, it teleports back to him. Since he is on skates, he can close distances very fast yet stop and manuvuer around, whereas a regular person would fall from being on skates. Sorcerer Siezing Sorcerer Posts: 1,342 Group: Members Member #102 Joined: May 7, 2006	I think it would dull the point it makes in Paranoia Agent if he doesn't kill people. Conversly, no one ever consents for the chance to have their players killed unless they're bored of them and just want an excuse to make a new one.

Advanced Member Posts: 77 Group: Members Member #574 Joined: February 26, 2007	He doesn't kill them in the anime or here, he just attacks them... except for two select cases where he killed the imposter of him, and a random redshirt in the triple suicide episode. In the last episode, he envelopes everyone and morphs into a monster to fight the inspector to envelop Tsukiko. But thats the anime, and im being a nerd. However, if anyone wants their character to die, they could use this as a simple method, unless they already had something planned out.

Sorcerer Siezing Sorcerer Posts: 1,342 Group: Members Member #102 Joined: May 7, 2006	My bad, been too long since I've seen it. ^^; Anyways, I think Amaya and I probably share similar thoughts on this. All this ideal is doing is ripping the exact plot off of the show, pasting it into the forums and saying "Ok, let's act out the series." The whole concept of everyone using him just screams for incontinuity as inevitably one of us would act out Lil Slugger far different from others leaving our Plot Character with a severe case of Multiple Personality Disorder (literally, lol).

The plot as in his origin would take a different turn from the original series, but would only have a few similairities to the original series, kinda like the current plot arc with the millenium items.

It has nothing to do with cards or whatever. The way you're using it...It's using the premise of the whole series. The series is about a kid with a bat that fucks shit up. It's not really different.

How bout i ditch the whole kid with a bat thing, and just have some mysterious figure that attacks people in the night? I dont really know what to do as far as who is going to use him, but the basic idea is still there; a serial attacker
