Amane's Older Sister Posts: 1,726 Group: Members Member #30 Joined: April 20, 2006	Inspired by the independent, quirky movie group WestHavenBrook (creators of Sockbaby), my friends and I have decided to make our own little movie production group called Industry of Productions Incorporated. This will allow me to learn to write and shoot films since I am going into filmmaking in college. For now, I will be the main director, writer, and cameraman, and acting only in smaller roles. There isn't going to be a consistent amount of actors since I am friends with many people in the drama club, so I'm gonna try and show a different range of people. Our work will mostly be action/adventure/kung-fu/comedies. And thus, our movie production team is born. Woot! Our first project is an epic Samurai Movie I'm making for my environmental science class about nuclear waste. I'm gonna be filming and editing the rest throughout this week and I should have it by next Sunday or Monday, because that's when it is due. The plot: a foolish samurai is told the story of a famous samurai who met his nuclear fate with Mother Nature...and sought revenge! It's really absurd, but you'll get to learn about nuclear waste disposal and what you can do to save the environment. Plus, there's a fight scene! Yay!

X3 Tomorrow, my friend and I will be shooting the last scenes for my Environmental science video. Then, it's off to the editing room. Now, I have two projects I want to get done this summer: Toy Guns - An experienced, unstable hitman befriends an inexperienced and equally unstable hitman. They a job to assassinate a local, depressed architect. This is an action comedy starring two of my friends and I. The whole script has been made, all we've been waiting for is my camera. So, sometime in the next few weeks, we'll start filming. Pawns - Leon is a minion of a secret organization and he is always given bitch work. On this mission, he is sent to get snacks for the evil overlords. In order to get them, he breaks into a dysfunctional couple's house...unfortunately, the couple are still at home when he does it. This'll be a three or fourt part series. I've got everyone casted except one person and I'm in the process of writing the script. We'll also be filming this sometime in the next few weeks. The cast a bit larger than Toy Guns, with a bigger range of people. Plus, womens! For both movies, I'm undecided whether I'll be scoring the movie myself or getting a friend of mine to do it. It might be a mix of both. If I get some scenes shot and edited, I'll post them as filler before I get the whole movies up.

Unfortunately, a lot of changes happened. So here's a rough edit of the first few minutes that I made for fun. This isn't the final edit. I have to add voice-overs, credits, and crap. Super Cool Uber Omega Pawn Movie Preview And after you're done with that, check out this: Bloopers and Behind-the-Scenes Antics Be sure to turn up the volume and tune in to hear hilarious quotes like "You're not powerful enough to play with the safety scissors." If you have any questions about what the hell is going on in both videos (like "Why does that guy have a Pikachu strapped to his face?"), then feel free to ask, I do have explanations.

I was planning on using this time to introduce the super cool new character but my actor got grounded for swearing at his house. =O Silly teenager. Anyway, if the weather permits, expect some extreme Initial D referencing, action scenes, and more stellar improv.

And lo and behold, one of the guys had a Pikachu plushie with him and so we said, "Why not?" and strapped the sucker to the guy's face. XD Actually nope, none of them smoke weed, they're just a bunch of dorks.

I'm an Action Figure! squeeze Posts: 557 Group: Members Member #390 Joined: August 13, 2006	I love the ninja-y effects when the cereal is being poured and eaten. It reminds me of me in the morning when I'm pouring some cereal. I'm all 'Wa-cha!' and stuff. This sadly reminds me of me and my friends. Funny stuff, Craze!

We filmed about an hour and a half of footage Tuesday so I hope to have the video up later tonight or tomorrow. I've decided that instead of a short film, we're just doing short videos. So Episode One will be up soon.

Amane's Older Sister Posts: 1,726 Group: Members Member #30 Joined: April 20, 2006	I got some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that I can't get my California movie off the DVD. I've tried several different ways but it doesn't seem to work. If all else fails, I'll make copies of it and will have to mail it to people. >_O The good news is that I've started writing Episode 3 of the ninja series. It'll be a biggie. Of course it's a huge reference to Initial D but it's more plot/character driven than just the joke-driven first episodes. It'll have a mostly, if not all, new cast and each one will their own little character story. And seeing as some of them actually know how to drift (in some cases, they can drift better than they can actually drive XD), I'm gonna try and use cars for some of this. I project to start filming this in August or early September. I suspect the final product to be around 15-25 minutes long. And since there's gonna be dialogue in it, expect some interesting outtakes.

I'm currently storyboarding it and we'll be driving to a camp sometime soon to start filming it. I'll talk to one of the main actors today about it so we can start figuring out when he's available for the story scenes. I'm gonna try and make a trailer after the first few shooting days so ya'll can get a taste of what's in store. :3 In the meantime, I have a video for ya'll to see. At band camp, we played Hide and Seek and one kid took Hide and Seek to a whole new level: David and his camo suit.
