Saturday I'm getting a couple of the actors together and depending on whether or not the main actor can attend, we'll be doing several scenes including several test shots for the driving portions of the movie. Expect to see some footage Monday or Tuesday at the latest (but knowing me, I'll edit right when I get home.) And more good news: I found a program to rip my ninja movie off of the DVD from film camp so I'll get that up soon.

Amane's Older Sister Posts: 1,726 Group: Members Member #30 Joined: April 20, 2006	2-HIT COMBO!!! Bloopers and Behind the Scenes from my most recent movie, Point Blank. Episode 2: In the Shadows I apologize beforehand for my California video (the second video), the transfer from DVD to YouTube came out low-quality. As for the first video, that movie you won't see for a little while. I'm doing the rough edit right now but we could only shoot half of it because 1) the script, once again, got rewritten as we filmed it so I have to completely rewrite the second half and 2) one of the actors didn't show up. So hopefully I'll have that up soon.

One of the things I'm doing is reediting Episode 2: Hide and Seek and making it faster, more entertaining, and better quality so be on the look-out for that. Point Blank will probably finish shooting after marching band season. As for other projects, I plan on doing a mock-Beowulf movie for English Honors so I'll be getting that ready soon. Anywho... runs back into my inactiveness

Amane's Older Sister Posts: 1,726 Group: Members Member #30 Joined: April 20, 2006	Update: I'm scheduling Point Blank to finish shooting after final exams (December 20th for me.) So, after a day or two of shooting and probably a week or two of editing (because I'm a painfully patient and anal editor), Point Blank should be up early to mid January. Sorry for the long wait, exams are looming and marching band season only recently ended, but that doesn't mean the work load is any lighter. D= I'm also in the writing process of a Canterbury Tales video. It'd be around the Pardoner's Prologue and Tale and would be a dark comedy. There's a possibility of a musical number/dance fight too but we'll have to see what I can rustle up script-wise before making any final decisions. Anywho, I'm off to write. Toodles~ ^__^

Amane's Older Sister Posts: 1,726 Group: Members Member #30 Joined: April 20, 2006	Up-up-up-up-update: Tomorrow we'll hopefully do the rest of the shooting for Point Blank. We only have two obstacles of us: 1. The living room where shot a nice portion of the movie was remodeled in the last month or two so we have to reshoot a small bit of footage. However, this might be a blessing in disguise because some of that footage was mediocre, so this'll allow me to make that portion look more professional. So, I'm keeping things positive and making new storyboards tonight. 2. The owner of the house (and one of the actors) got Rock Band for Christmas so by only the will of God will we thwart temptation to procrastinate and play Rock Band instead. From the sounds of it, all of the actors are ready to do a lot of filming tomorrow and be through with it. But I'm sure Rock Band will still be a temptation. On the bright side, when we're done, we will definitely play it and I will tape some of it. Wish us luck! ^_____^

Update: Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck! >_____< For a second time in a row, my main actor was grounded from leaving the house a few hours before we were supposed to shoot! How the hell can this happen again?! I was so pissed off that the actors and I decided to just hold off shooting. The bulk of what we needed to shoot required our grounded actor so we called it a day and just played Rock Band. If this happens again, I'm getting a new actor and the majority of the movie will have to be reshot. I don't care, I want to get this done. Right now I'm concocting an idea for a long script and, simultaneously, I'll be working on a short script that can be done in one day. I'm sick and tired of Point Blank being held back and I really need to do something else for my film school portfolio. So this new short project will be unveiled within the next few days. Fuck, filmmaking is a bitch! >____< [Disclosure: This RPer apologizes for anyone who might take offense to his sudden burst of foul language. It's rare he uses so much at once and apologizes once again.]

The actor that had been absent the last two times was now present, but one of the other actors woke up and felt sick so he couldn't make it. We got a lot of work done.
