AHHH, TO SUNNY Posts: 542 Group: Members Member #243 Joined: June 9, 2006	Well I was just thinking that you know there have been SOOOO many changes for Hyakuji...excuse me...Shinya highschool, that perhaps it has happen to fast for some people. This has caused a great disagreement in opinions within our community both in real life and on the boards, so I was thinking why not have a civil war. The real idea of this is kind of like in Final Fantasy 8 when the SeeD have to choose between the head master and the Garden Master. So I was thinking that people take sides and they have to fight against there friends and other people to try to get what the believe in to become a reality. So basically my idea is to have a HUGE civil war within the population forcing our students to take sides on the matter and fight for their beliefs. I can clear anything up if I need too^^.

A civil war would be chaos...I like that. I like your idea quite a bit Danny, but right now seems a little bit too hectic, in my opinion. I wonder what other people would think about this...

I mean, everything is just getting started and scrapped from the beginning. It's going to be chaotic if we have a Civil War right now. We should let the board settle down a bit, and let all changes take action first. ^^

Where in history has things settled down before there was a war? I think if it should be done, it should be done as soon as possible so it can have a real effect, because if no one knows how the new system will work it makes it more real because the characters won't know if they are fighing for something that will work. :lol:

First off, any kind of Civil War right now would have to be between those who side with Hyakuji and those who side with Shinya. And we are trying to remove all references to Hyakuji. Plus, it might put some undue stress on the moderators/admins as they try to both deal with finishing up everything in the changes from Hyakuji to Shinya. Maybe later on there can be some kind of war, but right now, people are generally working on new editions of their characters, or new characters entirely. I think we should try to start off Shinya on a good note, some kind of welcome bash/party/etc, rather than destroying this area all over again.

We're not to have any references to the school at all whatsoever, so having a civil war would only put a big and bold spotlight on the name of 'H.yakuji' and be incredibly counter productive to the work that the staff has put forth in changing the site around for us. A Civil War is a cool idea (especially if it's like the Final Fantasy VIII one) but I think now would be a really bad time for anything -that- drastic...and if it were to happen, it would probably have to be something different than people siding with Shinya and H.yakuji. But even then, the staff have come up with a lot as far as the story goes...I think what we should all focus on now is just settling into the new site and school and worry about huge storyline pieces later.

I was totally thinking about what you guys had said, one reason I left, and I've been trying to develope a strong idea as to why there would be a civil war, excluding the whole Hyakuji vs. Shinya idea And before I put too much more though into it I was wondering who would be interesting in a site wide plot involving this. I think it would be an interesting way for character developement, it would also pit friends against friends, and it's a new idea for our board, instead of fighting a giant demon, we fight each other. If you like the idea, please let me know, I really think it would be an interesting topic. If not, slander me for reviving this topic and my idea^^ I don't mind.
