Is there anything that you can tell us about it? I would like some more information before I say yes or no.

MAJIDE!? Posts: 17 Group: Members Member #775 Joined: November 18, 2007	I may be new, but I'd like to voice my support for this. For some more information on what he's talking about.....The Dark Tournament is a series of battles between Teams of five....where each team sets an order for their five members...and then two teams square off.... each one sending their first member to fight and then the victor remains while the losing team then sends up their second fighter... it goes like that until one team is eliminated.... a win is counted either by knock-out, death (guess that would have to be changed for here)....or ring out.

Posts: 17 Group: Members Member #775 Joined: November 18, 2007	No, it's all senseless fighting..... of course there's a story....but you'd probably want it to be more relevant to here, right? In YYH.... the Dark Tournament is a yearly tournament held by the Underworld where various crime organizations get together to watch and bet on which Team they think will win. In the series only demons fight and each year.... they pick a special team of all humans to send in to generally fail....I think Yuusuke and his people have to go there because he has to stop someone on one of the teams or something.... don't remember.... but it's too storyline specific just to port over... or at least I think so...

It's not like one hasn't been attempted in the past but then again you have to have someone running it and if it's one single team you'd have to make the villians and opponets to actually fight and possibly mod them.

Posts: 3,326 Group: Administrator Member #14 Joined: April 19, 2006	yeahh here's the main problems Random activity l;evels will slow the event large numbers required will lsow it even further why the heck owuld shiyna send kids to due it out tournament style.. while fighting tournaments are legal irl... super powered ones owuld definitely not be allowed... And also, this event would be HIGHLY tilted towards those with combat powers... AND FINALLY, the plots currently focusing more on the school and the dorms and such.. NOW! all that said i think the clear sister to this idea that might have a better shot.. A tournament based on competitions.. Tell me an obstacle course of super powered teens wouldn't be cool? Or a task based series of events..? And it oculd be hosted by the school to inspire competition between the dorms..

The why.... who says the town/school would send people? legality.... in the series the tournament is an illegal underground ordeal... why take something like that and try to coin it as legal.... isn't there some mafia-like thing here... thought I read something on it.... combat powers..... does every event have to please everyone? school and dorms.... should we all gear all our focus to school and dorms despite our own opinions? As for the competitions.... wouldn't that idea also be plagued with the problem of being too large....and having low activity effect it? Wouldn't you then just also be alienating those interested in combative related stuff.... ?
