Amane's Older Sister Posts: 1,726 Group: Members Member #30 Joined: April 20, 2006	Okie-dokie, how many of you remember the movie Ghost? If you don't know, basically the movie revolved around a ghost who killed by a mugger, only to find out that the mugger was paid to kill him (and not just random) and that the love of his life is in danger. Now, to spin this concept with Shinya, what if we had a similar story? A Shinya student dies by some random secondary-character but stays in the real world because his soul is not at rest. He walks the earth in his ghostly state, not seen or heard by anyone. As he roams around, watching everyone go about their daily lives, he finds out that there were deeper reasons as to why he died and now he must save one (or more) people from immenent danger. In order to get help, he can find some students who can see spirits (I'm sure we have a few) to help warn the people. I think it'd be interesting idea to have someone who's ghost weaving in and out of threads, going unnoticed by other characters. What do ya'll think?

It could be that some NPC dies, and then contacts an NPC medium of some kind, who then tries to get help relating to this whole thing. That way, more people can be involved if they want to be without needing to directly be related to any of those who can see spirits, and without keeping the event directly tied to those characters who can see spirits. Another possible way would be that this ghost can communicate with those who can't normally see spirits, possibly due to the ability they had before they died or a strong will to want to help those living.

Through my viewfinder Posts: 557 Group: Members Member #807 Joined: January 6, 2008	Rukkai's suggestion of having someone having an out of body experience so we don't have to kill anybody reminds me of another movie which its name escapes me at the moment. Its story has a woman who has an out of body experience but viewers doesn't realize it because she got into an accident previously and was thought to have been killed in that accident. Her 'ghost' was visible to only one man, who happens to purchase her apartment where she used to lived and pestered him randomly; she doesn't realize she is with out physical form. To make the long story short, the man falls in love with her, finds out about her history, and tries to save her from being pulled off life support when her rival tries to do get rid of her. Fun stuff.

Let them eat cake! Posts: 10,531 Group: Legendary Member #23 Joined: April 19, 2006	Awake was pretty intense. It was an awesome movie. Basically Hayden has a bad heart but a deep pocket. He has a heart problem and is rushed to a local hospital and is taken care of but the doctor suggests he gets a heart transplant. (OH YEAH, SPOILER ALERT..?) Turns out that Hayden needs the heart transplant and goes to the doctor who helped him with his first incident but the doctor has some lawsuits for mis-something thats bad regarding medical jargon. His girlfriend/fiance is the main heir in the will. You find out that the doctor plans to kill Hayden to get the money for some previous debt problems but the mommy catches on, kills herself to give her son a good heart instead of the one the doctor tainted. As for the rumor, it sounds like a great idea and I know just what to do to help. The Amari family has a son who is ill (I think hes in a coma right now.). Someone can pull the plug and kill him to set off the rumor. Craze, if you want you can use him .

AHHH, TO SUNNY Posts: 542 Group: Members Member #243 Joined: June 9, 2006	Well, going along with the volunteers Danny is actually going to die rather soon anyway and I was already kind of planning him to be around just a little bit, so if the idea gets off the ground and you need a ghost...Danny can be that ghost^^.

And I think that one movie Xing is talking about is that one Reese Witherspoon movie. What was it...Just Like Heaven? Anyway, yeah, Reiko's brother would definitely be perfect to use, non?
