We all know you love Amane so you don't mind me guiding you! I. Suggestions and Complaints: In suggestions and complaints members can make suggestions or register complaints about certain things. We really appreciate it if you have a personal problem with one of the staff members, please PM it. We don't want to make a huge deal. It is quite troublesome but if it is about something you don't like the system, then feel free to complain. We want to hear everything. I use everything loosely, please don't complain about your life. you have friends in real life for that. For suggestions, we are all ears for suggestions. Sometime we won't used them or even at all but please understand, we put it in consideration. it's not all about one person saying they dislike it and everyone goes for it. We listen, unless you are just trying to change the entire board completely...then we'll be like whatever... Also, when there is topic that were meant to be answer by the staff, which is all of them, Please do not touch. You can read it, you can see it, you can eat it, just don't touch or post in it. Unless it's a suggestion, then you can support the idea. II. General Chat: The General Chat is an open forum to discuss many things, however there are some things we won't tolerate. --Do not spam I think you get my point. >:( If not, Amane has a paddle with your name on it and another one with Yaoi/Yuri. --No political topics. Unless it's civil...saids Nao. Goes out of hand and Amane will take a hammer under wham it! --Polls are great too! Just don't do stupid ones like, "What's your favorite color?" or "What would you rather wear?" --BEFORE YOU MAKE A TOPIC, PLEASE SEE IF IT ALREADY EXISTS! I don’t want to see five thousand threads saying, DID YOU HEAR? Amane is trying to out do Nao!! Or something like that. -- A general rule, for all topics, everywhere, C-box included. Treat the other members WITH RESPECT. The staff more so. Treat people as you wish to be treated, we are here to make friends, enjoy ourselves, and have fun. III. Graphics Workshop: They are there to take in request. Their choice to make you a sig or avatar. We really don't have control over them... IV. Welcome Forum: The welcome forward is where you can introduce yourself. If someone comes you don't like, please don't attack them or anything. Check the Intercom You should always keep up to date with what is going on at school, and the best way to do that is to check the intercom. The intercom will let you know whether it’s a free day or if school is in session. It will also tell you useful things like the weather forcast. You are expected to be in class, so please make it a point to check for your classes when the time changes. You can be in as many threads as you can handle, but if class in in session, you should be there, unless real life prevents you. Be sure to take note of weather and time of day during normal school periods as it is described in the intercom. II. Where to Begin Rping Please be aware of the titles of any threads you decide to join. If there are any instructions, please listen to them. Ie. If the thread is closed for only certain people, then you cannot join. If you have to PM someone to join, please do so. The topic starter puts those things there for a reason. Starting your own topic is a good way to get to know other rpers under your own circumstances. Someone should join, but please be patient. On Shinya we rp in third person limited, this means you can’t know other’s thoughts… unless that’s your power or something. Think of rping on Shinya like reading a book. We don’t use action markers like asterisks or hyphens. III. In The Classroom Classes can get very busy, so please keep an eye out for the teacher’s post. The teacher’s post is very very important to the class. If you fail to read it, then you’ll be missing what’s going on. The teacher also reserves the right to pace their class, send students to detention, or close the thread entirely. The teacher is the queen/king of the classroom, so any rule breaking will be punished under their discretion. o_o be good. IV. Joining a Club Club topics will be started by the club manager, so keep an eye out for those. ALL school clubs are open for anyone to try, but to be a member, please post in the club’s official thread. All clubs must also have a teacher sponsor. All clubs must also have an official information thread. Non school related organizations are held to the same rules as a club, however, this is case by case, please contact an admin to discuss further detail. V. Attempting Rumors Rumors are run by the staff, so once you’ve picked a rumor, please pm the staff member listed as the GM to start it. Remember, staff members are real people so we can also be very busy, please respect that if we cannot start the rumor right away. We also recommend you attempt rumors in a group ( a dedicated group). Soloing rumors is highly discouraged, and the staff member can refuse to initiate the rumor if a group is required. Staff members also reserve the right to close the rumor if rules are being broken or disrespect is being showed. VI. Requesting a Signature There are many at Shinya with graphic making skills who can make you a signature for your character. If you have one made by them, only request it for Shinya. Also keep in mind to make a small signature, a look around the board will give you an idea for what that means. VII. Requesting a Dorm Room Please post a request for a dorm room in the official dorm thread in the announcements. You can only request your house, rooms will automatically be assigned to diversify your rping experience. Please do not request to be with friends; it will not happen. Once you get a dorm, while you are allowed to have people of the opposite sex in your room, this board does not condone cyber or students having co-ed sleep overs. VIII. Clubs and Organizations All clubs, before being placed in the club section, should have at least three members other than the one who starts it. Clubs will be subject to approval in the join forum. Also, all clubs should maintain a member roster. The upkeep of which is left to the club leader. [/big] To become a member one should attend a minimum of two meetings though membership qualifiers are left at the discretion of the club manager. So long as this does not clash with the 'all are allowed' rule. The club manager has the right to end or continue a topic when they feel it is best. IX. Role Playing Slots Until it presents itself to be a problem there are no rp slots limits. you may rp in as many topics as you are capable of maintaining at any given time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Rules are subject to change, but we will alert you when they do, so please pay attention.
