So here's just one of my Ranka Lee cosplay. Maybe I will dress up again sometime and try to take better ones. I'll let Otoha post his Shikamaru cosplay photos. We're both ultra critical about that kind of thing. But, even without Otoha's permission I'm going to post some pictures I took of him during his trip out here. I gave him a hair cut and I did a pretty good job ^o^!! * bragging* but seriously. I think Otoha should consider modeling. This is just a kool photo edit I made And me Here's some PuriKura we took in an actual machine. The guy with the light brown hair is my boyfriend, and the other asian guy is one of my friends. I'd post some of them to prove it...but I value my life o.o Anywho...these are the only two pictures of my Shikamaru cosplay that I actually like. The rest just look weird. Namely because I look weird with my hair like that.

Since I can't go to any cons, the RenFaire is the closest thing I can get, which incidentally was the only way I could get a high-quality picture of myself. We all really defy the stereotypes of roleplayers/nerds, don't we? None of us are fat or particularly acne-plagued, and I like to think that I myself am rather attractive, can't comment on what others think of themselves, but we have reason to think highly of ourselves! What most surprised me was the actual concentration of asians! I previously thought this website was populated entirely by all-american otaku who thought they were japanese! I knew Nao was bona-fide asian ahead of time, she showed me that panda-hat picture, but wow. I'd wager I'm the palest of us all, actually. And...uh...note that there was odd lighting while that picture was taken, I look a lot less haggard and sickly in person. EDIT: And due to a notification by a certain smartass, I'm not emo or goth, the hat makes my hair do that. It's either this or cramming my entire fringe up into it.
