Hail Empyrian! Or Something like that Posts: 846 Group: Members Member #712 Joined: August 15, 2007	Alright everyone, this will probably seem a little anticlimactic to most with all the other flights from the site happening as I am not staff. The reason Im leaving? Well for a lot of the same reasons Shin is, I will state that I did not proactively try to fix things as he did but I took witness to all the events as they occurred. I did raise my voice at the plot, this I admit, but that was due to my own irritability on the standards at which I hold plot development, not the site itself and I was content to remain put. And before I go on my speech Im going to take a moment to defend Shin, because your comments on the subject made me sick. Of course he didnt want to leave, he put so much effort into trying to fix this place so that he could stay. But with closed minds and self serving actions he felt he HAD to leave. There is a difference and Im sure those with basic comprehension skills can understand it. Now then...some exposition as Im sure it is required seeing as most of you dont know who I am. That is Im a person of little importance, I am a shinya member. I was here when Hyakuji became Shinya and now I am not afraid or ashamed to say I miss Hyakuji. Hyakuji was not what Shinya has become, it certainly has its flaws but it was all it was supposed to be, a highschool with super powered teens. When the Shinya administration began that was obviously the first thing to go. Shinya is an Anime based rpg. I have no problem with anime, Im the vice president of our Japanese Animation and Cultural Club at home. But here is the thing, once you base an rp strictly off that, nothing is original anymore. It was most evident in the attempt at plot made recently which stole ideas from so many mediums that it should have been sued for plagiarism. This was the first major thing that irked me. I will not go into detail on how I consulted with Nao on the subject, because it makes me angry thinking about it. The summary was, I explained my concerns, stated suggestions for a later plot, and reported I would not take place in the current plot. All these points were ignored as I was spoken to, spoken in a manner that a kindergarten teacher speaks to her students. But I am not a kindergartner. And I hate being patronized. I always felt that our opinions were somewhat recognized, maybe not taken into account, but that they at least existed. I was obviously wrong . I didnt mind though, I was willing and content to continue on my rping way as long as I could rp with my friends. And there we have it, my friends are gone leaving for various reasons. SO yes, Im through I would like to ask something though, how was alienating those staff members intelligent? I dont think you fully realize what you lost when Chizu, Syb, and Captain left adding me it comes to this Hifield Zero: A homeroom teacher, Supernatural CLub, and four characters Captain Freetime: A Jack of All trades, Movie Night, Approvals, A teacher, an Admin, four characters Syb: The time of Shinya, an Admin, four characters, A teacher Chizu: The one staff who got to characters and exp, an admin, and four characters For those of you who see this as a set back... I laugh. Actually Im laughing a lot currently. Why? There is always a feeling of elation when finally speaking your mind, followed by regret and sadness. Cypriss will probably tldr or if he doesnt he'll claim I was wrong, but most likely he'll say something else to prove Im wrong. Nao will come in and try and defend her actions, and she has the right to, they are her actions. The defense doesnt change the result of the actions though Otoha...well all I have to say is that fire is indeed hot now then, go ahead and write responses! I want to see! Because in the end, when Im not a part of it anymore this is all very amusing. ahem THIS IS NOT MY COW!
