It's pathetic, right? Posts: 3,326 Group: Administrator Member #14 Joined: April 19, 2006	Name: "Master" Long Yu Xin Age: 26 Appearance: Place of Birth SOmeplace, China Dormitory Advisor for Watari History: Born in China in a temple for a nearly dead for of martial arts that combined classic Chinese Shaolin style martial arts with contemporary teachings on elemancy. It was a style that had endured for centuries. His master, Fong, was strict and almost harsh to the point of cruelty. He trained day and night despite his tendency to slack off and be lazy. Whenever he could he escaped his masters cruel training to chase women and try to curry favor with them. he was always a bit of a lecher. He eventually left his shrine with his master to train with a foreign shrine. Despite his slacker mannerism he was the one chosen and it irritated many. One, specifically, was enraged to the point that he destroyed the temple when Long and Fong left and killed many. He had trained his whole life for the honor to gain the new masters position and if it was denied to him then he would destroy it's value by killing any apprentices Long might hope to teach some day. Fong and Long returned to a massacre. The duo swore vengeance and searched all over Japan for the man who had done this crime. They decided to become teachers at Shinya in hopes of earning enough money to continue their quest. However Dong died protecting the school and Long learned that his duty of protecting these students outweighed his vendetta. Knowing this he stayed behind and decided to remain as a teacher at the school. RP Sample: [lol, Admin override.] Powers: Geomancy: The power to mold, manipulate, and use stone, dirt, sand, or rock in a combat form. He can strike, deflect blows, and defend with this element as he is an elemancer. This is somewhat draining but with his highly developed skill he no longer has much trouble even when using this power for extended periods of time. "Rooted" When he 'roots' he draws the stone around his feet. In this stance he can draw almost infinite power form the ground but in return he can't move at all. He may only root once per topic. Tiger Reversing to Dragon: A master of both the shaolin tiger and dragon style he switches between these two when fighting. Personality: On the surface he seems easy going and energetic. He always smiles and tries to alleviate the concerns of others with his cheerful disposition and good natured prodding of others. He always tries to bring out the best in others and through this he brings out the best in himself as well. He never backs down from a challenge. He is the man who can move mountains, or at least that's the sort of gusto and zeal that he exudes almost in any situation. Nothing is too hard for Master Long. Or at least that how he SEEMS. In truth he worries his master died too soon and he isn't ready. He constantly tries to seem more confident than he is in front of others to relieve his own doubts. He is only ocnfident in one thing.. His good looks and charisma! Optional: Fears: Disappointing his master. Dying gas pockets Letting a student die. Date Of Birth: 21 years ago.. duh!
